We’re not your grandma’s cabaret. (Unless your grandma is absolutely that diva — in which case, she’s welcome.)

The Chicago Red Line has been turning pop culture inside out and serving it back to Chicago with big vocals, sharp comedy, and absolutely zero chill since 2008. We are a collective of professional singers, actors, and dancers who believe that the best night out is one where you laugh until your mascara runs, sing along to songs you didn’t know you knew, and leave wondering how you’re going to explain the evening to your coworkers on Monday.

What we do is parody — the kind that knows the source material so well it can dismantle it with love. Enchanted castles, prehistoric theme parks, the most fetch high school in cinema history, tales as old as time — we take the stories everyone grew up with and drag them somewhere far more interesting.

Led by our executive board (we call it the LOOP — yes, like the train, yes, it was intentional), the Red Line has performed at venues across the Chicagoland area for over 17 years and counting.
